Terrain A mostly flat Beach promenade from Whitstable Castle to Hampton along the beach promenade and back, with a few small hills. 
Surface Tarmac roads, pedestrian walkways and concrete promenade footpaths. 
Configuration An out and back course along from Whitstable Castle to Hampton along the beach promenade and back, with a turnaround point just after 5K. 
Section of Road The full width of the roads and pedestrian walkways unless indicated. 
Right Turns Marshalled to the middle of the road, promenade and pedestrian walkways before crossing to left hand side of the road, promenade. 
Comments All of the roads on the first 0.5mile part of the course are closed to traffic and 0.5mile section at the end of the course in Whitstable.
