Terrain Mainly flat with some gentle undulations, apart from a long hill up Waterworks Valley 
Surface Mainly tarmac roads country lanes, but over 8Km of sand/gravel cycle paths, with paving stones some cobbles on the return route along the sea front.  
Configuration One large anti clockwise loop, the start finish sections of which are in St Helier  
Section of Road Centre of St Helier- closed to traffic full width of road in pedestrian precinct, full width normal roads, no pavements. Open roads- keep to the left on all A,B roads. Country lanes- shortest possible route left of the centre line.
