Terrain A mainly flat course with minor up hills at 3, 4, 8, 9 miles and down at 10 and 11 miles.  
Surface The surface is tarmac throughout on city roads 
Configuration The course is a single lap run clockwise on an out and back basis with the Start and Finish at the same point. Some sections of road are used in both directions 
Section of Road Where a road is used in both directions runners must keep to the left hand side. All roads will be closed for the duration of the event. Pavements are only allowed if slow runners have exceeded the allowed time to complete the event 
Right Turns Shortest Line except for the junction of Paston Ridings and Topmoor Rise at 10 miles. The running line will be the correct way round the mini roundabout.
