| Terrain | Flat, very slight rise and falls with the twice down and up of a road underpass subway. |
| Surface | Tarmac roads, pavements, and tarmac footpaths. No non-tarmac sections. |
| Configuration | Three similar length anti-clockwise loops. First a spiralling twisting loop. Second, a stretched loop through an underpass. Third a repeat of the first loop. |
| Section of Road | In general, only one carriageway, left or right half of the road is to be used within the Lakeside complex, the vast majority being on the left hand side.Long sections of the course are on pavements and footpaths shared with cycleways. |
| Right Turns | Cones, or similar, are used at all turnings where the corner could be cut short, several are marked on the course map. |
| Comments | The gates to the Lakeside footpath must be unlocked and open, and ample warning given for the narrow entrance and bollards.All pavement transitions, e.g. when joining, leaving or crossing a pavement, is via drop kerbs. |
