Terrain Flat with two slight hills. one to the turn round point and one up to the finish stadium 
Surface Tarmac roads and pavements in rural areas- housing estates and foot paths through grass land and between fenced off MOD land and buildings, These footpaths are all tarmac or hard packed yellow sand surface.  
Configuration one anti clockwise lap 
Section of Road For most of the road sections the runners are kept on the pavements /on footpaths the whole width can be used except for the path to and from the turn point when runners must keep to the right out and back.  
Right Turns Only one on a road the rest are on footpaths. the one is a closed road from the start and the runners are then turned on to the pavement of the new road.
