Terrain Generally flat with some undulations 
Surface Town roads and pavement, then country lanes. Start and Finish are in Harletts Park with a total of 961m on grass - maximum allowed is 1305m before race needs to be reclassified. 
Configuration The first 5km includes an anti-clockwise loop through residential areas of Hook before joining Reading Road and taking a large anti-clockwise loop on mainly country lanes round Hook. 
Section of Road See report - cycle path, pavements and left side of road allowed - very short road closure at entrance to Hartletts Park from London Road near end of race.  
Right Turns See Report - Full width of road allowed apart from turn from London Rd to Reading Rd after 1.9km when runners keep left, and at entrance to Hartletts Park.
