Terrain Flat slight undulations on outward leg. 
Surface Good road surface on town and country roads, tarred surface on Tarka Trail and good paving along the Quay at the finish. 
Configuration A short U shape link from the start and then a single lap. 
Section of Road LHS of roads outbound and then full width of Tarka Trail and E Brown Close. On rejoining Barnstaple Street and over bridge on return keep to RH pavement and the pedestrian area along the Quay to the Car Park at the finish. 
Right Turns 1. At U turn just after the start LHS around bollards and 2. RH pavement for turns going on and off Bideford Long Bridge on the return. 
Comments 1. As the Marine Parade rejoins the B3233 after Instow take the tarred, pedestrian short cut. 2. At end of E Brown Close take paved footpath through a gap to rejoin Barnstaple Street. Do not follow road to the right
