Terrain flat with one short incline up to elevated path. 
Surface All on tarmac roads. on major highway -one half of dual carriageway and other main roads. short distance on tarmac paths through a park. 
Configuration 1st 5k on an out and back route then 2nd 5k is a single anti clockwise loop 
Section of Road on the dual carriageway runners will be passing both ways. the carriageway will be divided down the middle by a tape and cone barrier. elsewhere the runners can use the whole of the left hand side of road. 
Right Turns The only right hand turns are on closed roads so runners can take the shortest route possible within the barrier tape.
