Terrain Flat, some long straight sections with a couple of twisty turning sections 
Surface Town roads, cycle paths, sea front, Airport taxi roads, HMS Daedalus ex-military base roads, and connecting roads 
Configuration An outer anticlockwise loop with an inner clckwise loop, used twice from different points of the outer loop 
Section of Road Privett Rd closed at Start, use entire road with runners steered to LH prior to joining cycle path, othersie use Left hand side except Cherque road which is full width. Use both sides of all cycle paths. 
Right Turns At two rt truns use a cone at apex -- ie the trun in Daedalus at 4..5 & 8..9 miles and the turn in Milvil Rd 10 .. 11 miles. Initial turn onto cycle path and across Broom way are controlled by drop kerbs zones 
Comments Daedalus gates must be opened. Two gates into school Ground at finish must be opened.
