Terrain Mainly flat with some slight undulations. 1 tough hill between mile 1 and mile 2 
Surface Tarmac except for approx 3/4 mile of farm track (hard packed earth & stone chippings). 
Configuration Starts with an out & back leading into one small loop and 1 large loop 
Section of Road The out and back section is closed to traffic but runners must keep to the left because they will meet runners coming back. 
Right Turns None on course 
Comments This measurement was made to ensure that the course being used (that was measured 10 years ago) is still accurate. the finish has also been moved to a safer location and the start moved to compensate
