Surface	Tarmac-mainly cycle paths with some footpaths on a housing estate. one section of road (approx 3/4 mile). Some tracks of hard compacted gravel & sand.

Section of Road	Cycle paths, pavements and tracks use whole width. On the road section the runners must be instructed to keep close to the left hand kerb.
