Terrain	Flat/slightly undulating
Surface	Good road surface on town and country roads plus about 4 miles on the Tarka Trail which has recently been re-tarred/gravelled.
Configuration	Single lap but extension for the start and a common section just after the start and for the return at the end.
Section of Road	Full width to bridge on road and use lane closest to the river in the car park. Then LHS of road but full width on Tarka Trail. Rejoining Barnstaple Road keep to RH Pavement over bridge and then on to the pedestrian area to the finish on the Quay.
Right Turns
Comments	At the end of Ethelwynne Brown Close folow the paved footpath through a gap to Barnstaple Road. Do not follow the road that loops round to the right.
