Race Name | Jack Crawford 10K |
Distance | 10 KM |
Measured By | Peter Rudzinski, Grade: 2 |
Measured On | 28 Jan 2025 |
Race Type | road |
Terrain | A mixture of road and canal towpath. Road section is quite flat with minor undulations. Canal towpath is flat all of the way. |
Surface | Tarmac |
Configuration | First 2K is anti-clockwise through a housing estate then out and back along the canal. |
Section of Road | Runners will be kept on the LHS of the road at all times through the residential area. Some of the runners may use the pavement but will gain no advantage. |
Right Turns | Runners will be marshalled on LHS of road through housing estate. Only one right turn, where runners will be likely to take the shortest route. I measured the shortest route at this point. All other turns are bends in the road, but runners will be marshal |
