Surface Start and finish is on grass totalling 240 yards - 1 of total distance. The first half mile is on town streets and then the remainder is on country roads. 
Configuration A single, anti-clockwise lap 
Section of Road Full section of road except when on the A711 and the B727 where runners should keep left. There is a pavement for a short part of the A711 but the shortest line is on the road. So while the pavement is allowed it is unlikely to be used.
