Race Type road 
Terrain Very flat along the cycle path, quite undulating when on the country lanes. One notable incline between 5K and 6K. 
Surface Tarmac 
Configuration Single lap anti-clockwise from 1K back to 9K. First k and last K same route. 
Section of Road All of the cycle path is available. There are no pavements on the country lanes. A little bit of the route on Dipple road has a pavement but road runs in a straight line so no advantage to using the pavement. 
Right Turns Only 2 right hand turns on the course, both allowing access to the cycle path, one going out and one coming back. Both turns were measured using the shortest possible route. 
Comments Start at lamppost R41, Caledonian Road, Glengarnock. Finish 155.9 metres before marker post at start of cycle path.
