| Configuration | Starting to the West of the village of Matfen on the closed Quarry By-Pass Road the course consists of two anti-clockwise circuits. Exiting the Quarry By-Pass Road, the route turns right South to the Village of Matfen then turns left taking the Stamfordha |
| Section of Road | The course is almost all left-hand turns, runners to keep to Left side along the sinuoussection from Matfen to Fenwick. The route from Fenwick to Waterloo is narrower, and atighter running line was measured here. |
| Right Turns | The only right turns were the exit and return from the Quarry Bypass and the Matfen toRyal Road, the shortest line across the junction was measured here. |
