Race Name | Tulip 10k |
Distance | 10 km |
Measured By | Tim Cook, Grade: 1 |
Measured On | 25 Jan 2016 |
Race Type | road |
Terrain | Flat |
Surface | tarmac roads |
Configuration | One lap out and back |
Section of Road | Runners should run on the left hand side of the road throughout the race. This is particularly important between 4km and 6km when there will be runners on both sides of the road as they go round the turn point. There are no pavements |
Right Turns | Runners should keep left throughout the race, at the right hand turn just after 6km they should not cross the middle of the road and once across, should stay on the left hand side to the finish |
Comments | Given the lack of distinguishing features on open Fen country lanes it is important that the race organizer or organizing club regularly refresh the km marks for easy identification |
