Terrain Hilly with a long steep hill after the start 
Surface Most of the course is on country lanes with the finishing section along a footpath with the final section on grass. The grass section is 59.1 metres long and the race therefore qualifies for a road certificate. 
Configuration One almost complete anti clockwise lap mostly on carriageway, with the final section on pavement and grass. 
Section of Road Runners stay on left then from junction F see plans runners use the pavement along Rissington Road to the finish within the cricket club grass. 
Right Turns Runners to keep to the left hand side of carriageway at turn in Clapton on the Hill. 
Comments Finish section of the race must be laid out accurately shortly before the race.
