Terrain Undulating, some long flat straights and some wicked up and down hills. One sharp downhill zigzag to gravel railway line 
Surface Mostly tarmac with 150m cobbles, and 0.759 miles of gravel or trail tracks. 
Configuration Out from town centre, loop of industrial estate, down to Hardingstone village and Great Houghton village, back round the industrial estate then finish beside Delapre Abbey. Surprisingly scenic route. 
Section of Road Up to central line when on roads, otherwise full width of paths and trails. 
Right Turns Shortest line available. 
Comments This course is 67 yards longer than a standard half marathon.
