Surface The race is run entirely on tarmac roads. 
Configuration The course is an anti-clockwise loop with a small section run twice to generate the 5 mile route. 
Section of Road The race is run on closed roads. During the opening mile and a half and the final 450m the runners have full use of both sides of the road. On the remainder of the route, runners have access up to the central white line of the road. Runners cant use pavem 
Right Turns All right hand turns are run on fully closed roads and runners have access to both side of the road.
